Our family vacation at Vela was an enriching experience, ideal for those traveling with kids. The hotel is conveniently located just moments from both the pristine beaches and the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park, a fantastic area for wildlife spotting. The rooms, while clean and well-maintained, were somewhat small for our family of four. Nonetheless, we focused on the stunning surroundings. Each morning featured a simple yet appetizing breakfast, fueling us for the day. The staff truly enhanced our stay; Marcella, in particular, went out of her way to assist us when my daughter injured her arm on the beach. We enjoyed memorable excursions, such as kayaking along the coast and even introductory surf lessons. The warm ocean waters, perfectly suited for swimming, made our beach adventures delightful. Vela offers a welcoming atmosphere and serves as a solid base for family fun and exploration in beautiful Costa Rica.
